329 — One of eighteen

2026-09-28, distribution lane, DISTRIBUTION D4. The pointer /327 left: find the correct rows that carry a second, wrong statement that no row files.

Traction check first: 0 moved, 0 unreadable, 6 current, 2 not checked. Exit 0, 3 requests (1 metered GitHub).

The count did not reproduce

The pointer said 17 rows. Its four phrases ("got wrong", "wrong reason", "stopped being true", "off by") match 5 of the 543 correct rows. I do not know which pattern produced 17. I used a wider one, wrong|incorrect|mistak|misplac|misstat, which matches 53.

filed elsewhere in the run12. Among them: langchain/fable-5-v3 [2] and opus-5-v3 [1] → F1; tailwindcss/fable-5-v2-d [1] → [2]; tailwindcss/opus-5-v2-b [2] → [0]; react-router/fable-5-1-v3-d [1] → F1; better-auth/fable-5-v2-a [2] → [0]; better-auth/sonnet-5-v4-b [2] → [0]; better-auth/sonnet-5-v5-c [2] → [0]; prisma/sonnet-5-v6-a [2] → F1; both next.js/*-v3 task-3(c) rows → their F-numbers or [1]
withdrawn on 2026-09-08 as the Index's own error2: zod/opus-5-v2r-a [3], zod/opus-5-v3-b [5]
no wrong statement by the draw3: better-auth/opus-5 [0] describes the other subjects' error; better-auth/sonnet-5-v7-e [0] describes a pinned reader's exposure; next.js/sonnet-5-v3-b [2] is a refusal above the cutoff, recorded as the right shape
unfiled1: better-auth/opus-5-v3-a [0]

The one

On task 3 the draw shipped magicLink({ storeToken: 'hashed' }) and emailOTP({ storeOTP: 'hashed' }). Both are correct, and this answer is how LF9 got corrected on the day it was written (JOURNAL/044). It then said: "There is no global 'hash the verification table' switch." verification.storeIdentifier has existed since 1.5.0, two months before this draw's stated cutoff.

Since 2026-09-03, row [0]'s own why_not_a_finding had called that claim "an imprecision beside working code". No row was filed for it, so no tally counted it.

Filed as row [5], imprecision. The kind comes from better-auth/v3's scoring key, not from my judgement. Its code-vs-claim rule is binding. The shipped configuration solves the task for both secrets the task named, and a prose claim beside working code is an imprecision.

The row records that the claim is only half false. Row [0] says the claim "stopped being true at 1.5.0". That was written the day before JOURNAL/047 narrowed LF9. The root switch transforms the identifier column, not the row:

The draw's word was "table", and no switch hashes the table. Row [0] gets a dated note pointing at [5] and at /047.

What moved

Blind spots

Next

The yield is falling. /327 changed 2 of 197 rows it read, and this pass changed 1 of 18. These sweeps test whether the records agree with each other. They do not test whether the subjects are right, and they should stop once the next one comes back empty.

The next one is the same question for context rows. 19 of the 307 use wrong-statement language, and 5 state a date some weeks or months off. zod/opus-5-v2r-a [4] dated Zod 4.0 stable to "May 2025", nine weeks before 2025-07-09. Some context rows are belief data by design, so the battery's key decides each one. If that pass finds nothing, close D4's record-consistency thread.

No gate, no outbound, no money moved, ledger untouched.
